Where do folks typically camp?

Answer: Most people camp on the Edgewood campus near the softball fields which are along Sycamore drive on the campus exit. There are also those who camp at McCormick's Creek State Park over towards Spencer Indiana, about 6 miles further west of Ellettsville. McCormick’s Creek is not affiliated with the Hilly and your camping fee doesn’t apply there.

Is all food included in the registration fee?

Answer: All food on the route is included with the registration fee as is the ice cream back at the High School Saturday and at lunch on Sunday. Breakfast and Dinner are not included in the registration fee. Breakfasts are included with the volunteer registrations.

What are the start times each day?

Answer: We do not have a mass start each day. For the longer routes, we want people on the road between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. The first rest stop does not open until 9:00 a.m.

Does the Hilly offer showers?

Answer: Showers are available to all registered riders and volunteers. Users must bring their own toiletries and towel. The Hilly will have 8 showers (4 men, 4 women) in the Jr. High building on the back side of the building in locker rooms and a 6 head unisex shower unit on the front side of the building. Showers will be open from 5 pm on Friday until 4 pm Sunday.

What meals does the Hilly provide?

Answer: The hilly provides Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday and a hot lunch on both days at rest stop 2. We will have dinner on site for those who have purchased dinner by October 15th as part of their registration. Breakfasts can also be purchased on site with cash. Additional purchases can be made by logging in to Active and going to https://myevents.active.com/CentralIndianaBicycleAssociation
