Our Hilly Hundred Volunteers were again a great group of people, who put
their personal interests
secondary to helping us provide you with a great event. Our crew this
year was filled early, and we
appreciate that. It allowed Catherine to assign them where they wanted
to be stationed and where
they would be effective. Thanks to each of them. We hope to
see each of them again next year.

Every year, the Hilly Hundred honors one of its volunteers
as Volunteer of the Year in return for his or her
extraordinary service to the event. The honoree receives a signed
and framed Hilly poster during the awards
portion of the 7:30 pm Saturday Variety Show. This year, the award
was presented to Marjorie Gordon,
a long time volunteer and the supervisor of the pre-sold merchandise pickup
station in registration.
